Favorite Music

Any kind except gangsta, extemporaneous jazz and the really nasally bluegrass. I can even handle small amounts of head banger, garage band, alternative and some of the other newer genres.

Local food bank/clothing store, the church I attend, Lutheran Family Services, Lutheran World Relief, Girl Scouts of America, Boy Scouts of America, Breast Cancer Fund.

Favorite Movies

Star Wars (all six), The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Harry Potter series, The Pelican Brief, Independence Day, Men In Black I and II, The Babysitter (Vin Diesel is soooo....), The Highlander, anything with Sean Connery like League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, just about anything with Patrick Swayze like Road House and Dirty Dancing, and almost anything with Samuel L. Jackson. Oh yes, The gray-haired guy, Sam ?, that starred with Patrick Swayze in Road House. He is just as bone shivery as Swayze is. I like his movies too. He played a supporting role in Night Rider.

Favorite Books

All of Anne McCaffrey's P.E.R.N. series and also her series that began with the trilogy "To Ride Pegasus." I have collected all the PERN books including all the peripherals I can get my hands on. I also have a 1970s boxed set of Lord of the Rings, the whole Harry Potter set so far, and a few others. As if you couldn't tell, I like science fiction and fantasy, mysteries and murder mysteries as well as cozies. I adore Lillian Jackson Braun and the Cat Who series. I'm also an ardent fan of the alphabet mystery A is for, B is for, series, and the numbered "Stephanie Plum" mysteries. Right now I cannot think of the authors' names, of course.

Northern California, the Pacific Coast, south central Wisconsin near Rio, Portage and Baraboo, the Republican River Valley in Nebraska, the Rocky Mountains, Denver, the Redwoods, Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay area (the only place I've ever been in Florida).

Favorite Animals

Cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, anything but snakes, spiders and some other bugs. They are all God's creatures and therefore wonderful. Some are just more wonderful than others.
