 I am a born again Christian with integrity,good ethical values,respect,and understanding.I don't like to talk much about me because I'd rather hear about you.  I have been delivered from cancer, drug, and alcohol abuse.

I have gone from a park bench to Park Avenue,from the outhouse to the White House,from being pennyless to making six figures,after being told many times that due to illness,I probably would not be able to accomplish much,or live .

God has blessed me to be an overcomer and to share His Word,His divine encouragement,and His divine healing with thousands through the years at job sites,prisons,and substance abuse facillities.

Some of the great years in my life,(with many more coming),were spent in the sixties ie;Woodstock,equal rights marches,etc. Those were days of much unity with me,and did I ever enjoy hitchhiking and meeting people of various color and walks of life!

I have been blessed to have been one of Americas' top salesmen at one time,giving lectures and presentations across the globe,a professional ballplayer some years back, and business developer,this from one who was told he would be blessed to live to see 10 years young, from one told he was too black, too skinny,etc. But God had and still has plans for me, as He does for you!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE to laugh! I like singing! But enough about me...what about you?

I have read much here about illness and healing,so my comment at this time?

Know That When You Ask The Lord For Healing, It Is Already His Will And He Hears You And He Agrees. Know He Has Already Settled It In The Atonement Of The Blood Of Jesus Christ - He Says "Yes"!

HOPE:
Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases; He redeems my life from the pit and crowns me with love and compassion. Psalm 103:2-4

I will give you back your health again and heal your wounds. Jeremiah 30:17

Worship the Lord your God, and His blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you...I will give you a full life span. Exodus 23: 25,26

REMEMBER:

But without faith it is impossible to please Him. Hebrews 11:6

O my soul, don't be discouraged. Don't be upset. Expect God to act! For I know that I shall again have plenty of reason to praise Him for all that He will do. He is my help! He is my God! Psalm 42:11

Activities

I enjoy working out, reading the Bible and newspapers, doing puzzles, vacationing in the U.S. and abroad, great conversation, skiing, church activities, singing, dancing, writing, listening to good music, witnessing, working with Promise Keepers.I enjoy working in soup kitchens, with the Homeless, substance abusers, and I love to sing.

Favorite Charities

Make-a-Wish Foundation, United Negro College Fund, American Cancer Society, American Lung Assn, UNICEF, Goodwill, Salvation Army, Feed the Children, World Vision, etc. There are others that mostly pertain to drug/alcohol rehabilitation, widows and orphans, etc.

Favorite Music

I like praise and worship music, especially contemporary, such as Israel & New Breed, Chris Tomlin, Donnie Mcklurkin, Michael English, Smokie Norful, Nicole Mullin, Vickie Yohe, Yolanda Adams, along with some jazz and old school r&b(The Whispers, Blue Magic, The Delfonics, Temptations, The Manhattans, Luther!, Stevie Wonder, The Isley Brothers)etc.I can still get into some Led Zepperlin, Jetro Tull, and Cream. It depends on my mood at the time.

Favorite TV Shows

CSI, Extreme animals, Christian channels, (such as TBN), law & order, Dancing with the Stars, Oprah, House, The Food Network, The History Channel, The Discovery Channel, ESPN, Intervention, Outer Limits, The Munsters, original Star Trek, Cartoon Cartoons, (the child in me), etc

Men of Honor, Why Did I Get Married, To Sir with Love, Beaches, Crash, Interview with a Vampire, The Sixth Sense, Legends of the Fall, The Passion of Christ, Basic Instinct, The Greatest Story ever Told, Sounder, Miracle on 34th Street, The Shawshank Redemption, The Great Debators, To Sir With Love, etc.

Favorite Books

Do 'ebooks' count? lol So You Call Yourself a Man, No More Excuses, Sounder, etc. I don't have much time to read books, except the Word.
