I was born in Flint, MI but moved around a lot because my Dad was a United Methodist minister. I graduated from Marquette Senior High School in 1972. I've lived in Bowerston, OH (near Canton); Elba, Royal Oak, Marquette, and Monroe, MI; Stuttgart, Germany; Manhattan, KS; and now live in Colorado Springs, CO. I served in the Women's Army Corps in the mid-1970's. I was stationed at Fort Jackson, SC; Fort Lee, VA; Fort Carson, CO (where I married Dave); and Boeblingen, Germany. Dave was born in Boston, but left the suburb of Watertown, MA when he joined the Army. He has been stationed at Fort Lewis, WA; Heilbronn, Germany; Boeblingen, Germany; Goeppingen, Germany; Fort Riley, Kansas; and retired at Fort Carson, CO.

More about me

Dave and I met on August 8, 1976 and married on August 16, 1976. Thirty-two years later and we're still going strong. We have two daughters. Our oldest, Sharal, is married with two children and lives near us in Colorado Springs. Our youngest, Anna, just received her RN and is married to a soldier who has just received a medical retirement from the Army. They will be moving to North Carolina later this month. Dave is retired from the Army and works as a Systems Administrator for a defense contractor. I am an Army vet. I was actually in the Womens Army Corps! Now I work for a government agency as an IT Specialist.
