I've traveled to Canada, Mexico, England, Ireland, France, Italy, Australia, and New Zealand, and most of the states. But have never moved more than 15 miles from where I was born and raised! My dream is to move "down south" now that I'm retired.

About me.... I am single and enjoying retirement.  I have two beautiful daughters 29 and 32. AS of March 30, 2009 I became a grandmother for the first time.  My oldest daughter has moved back home with me until she finds a house to buy; and her sister lives in Brooklyn. I own a Corgi dog, Bailey, who is the King of the House, and a parakeet who sings when I run water in the kitchen sink. I like to garden, read, hike, ski, travel and do some camping now and then. House remodeling is also a passion, along with community and volunteer service. I ski in the winter and swim in the summer, love the out-of-doors and the ocean. I am active in my Episcopal chuch. Hope to see you here on Eons...it's great fun and I've made some nice friends here.
