I'm a Mom, a Grandma, retired, floral designer, wood carver, director of  an outreach ministry, and I'm sometimes tired.  I've been married and have decided it's not for me any more. But I do have a friend that I go to dinner with occasionally.

  I live in an apartment and have good neighbors. I garden and travel to family often, and belong to a Loyal Order Of Moose Lodge. I am and have been an artist in several fields.  Wood carving is one of the later ones. I'm a believer, but not military about it. I don't smoke, and drink on special occasions. I love my friends and family, and completely adore my two youngest grandsons. (I have five of them, the others are grown.).

I sometimes write short stories and poetry, and think I'll write the 'Great American Novel' someday, like a lot of hackers. I'm poor but rich also.  That's life!!

Favorite Charities

Mustard Seed Outreach Ministry- Which is where I volunteer.It is a food pantry and a financial aid ministry. Mooseheart Child City- Which is in Illinois and is supported by the Loyal Order of Moose world wide. I've been to Mooseheart once, and was awestruck by the loving, comprehensive care given to over 200 kids all the time. The Moose also support a Senior complex in Florida for retired Moose members.

Favorite Music

Any and all except maybe rap and heavy metal. I don't understand it. RecentlyI've been tuned in to Gospel by Elvis again, and pop music.

Favorite TV Shows

CSI"s , House, and I have to admit I like American Idol.

Favorite Movies

Anything with George Clooney or Brad Pitt or Tom Hanks or Will Smith, and several other studs.

Favorite Books

I read lots of different things. Love mysteries and love stories, of course, I like biographies too.

Favorite People

People who survive things and overcome. That's courage.
