Places I've been

Muncie, IN (Hometown), While in high school, I spent 5 months in American Fork, Utah. As a young married, I was privileged to live in Greece for several years, then Washington state for several more. I returned to Muncie to become a single mom, and attended college at Ball State. Work finally brought me around to Kokomo, where I've put down some fairly deep roots.

I've always been a bit unconventional. Too bookish by far, prefered to stay up all night and sleep the sunshine away, and would rather work on machinery than play with dolls. There should be no wondering how I wound up in skilled trades, and on the midnight shift to boot.

I manage to be independent beyond all need to be, willing to try most things once if it doesn't mean jumping from anything, and able to listen to reason most of the time.

I'm retired! I can hardly believe that it's happened so soon. The plan was designed for years away yet, but a timely offer from the company and a wake up call from my doctor changed my mind. I've plenty planned and the next few years should be anything but boring. There's a house to design and build, orchard to plan and plant, and places I still hope to visit.
