I am 63, married for 43 years, son 38, daughter who died 5 years ago @ 35 of gestational breast cancer.  I have two beautiful granddaughters.  I left my beloved NJ to move to SC to help take care of the girls.  DH is still in NJ, not ready to retire yet.  My health is not good - eye cancer in '05, 3 knee replacements in '06.  I'm overweight and use a walker - but I still like to dance at weddings....  After high school and secretarial school in NYC, I worked at the United Nations.  I left there when my daughter was born and didn't work again until my son was in kindergarten.  Then I was a picture framer for 20 years.  I was let go when WalMart moved to town and the frame shop couldn't afford me any longer.  At age 50 I went to computer school and county college and learned to be a medical transcriptionist.  I worked for an ear, nose and throat surgeon for 8 years in NJ, but had to quit when my daughter passed away.  After moving to SC, I typed for doctors from my home for 3 years, until my eye cancer made that very difficult.  I am now on disability, and I travel back to Philly for eye and leg treatments.  I only get to see my girls once a week now, which does not make me happy either.  Other than all that -- ha ha -- I am surviving.  Thanks for letting me vent....
