Places I've been

Lived in California for several years as a child(hated it). Beautiful but I missed my fam and friends! Traveled cross country 3 times, unfortunately it was in a studebaker with 4 other people with no motel stops. Been to Canada, Nassau, Bermuda,(3x) Cancun, Disney World,Hershey, Armish Country. Best cruise ever..Maxum Ghorki, a Russian ship, fantastic cruise. Many Summers at my camp, deep in the woods of Maine!

I love to cook! Love having my family and friends over to enjoy my "creations"LOL I have met some wonderful new friends here on Eons and hope to meet more.

I retired early 6 years ago, but I still "work" 2 & 1/2 days a week caring for an elderly couple I have cared for years.(More elderly than me)

always grieving the loss of my son,Gary.Sept.4,1965--May 2005.  He disapeared the Wed after Mothers Day and his body was found Memorial Day morning in the Blackstone River. Nothing alters your life like the loss of a child!

Anything with Nicholas Cage, Sean Connery, Bruce Willis, Natalie Wood, Bette Midler, The Rock, Meg Ryan, -----Oh Shucks I love movies as long as Woody Allen, Adam whats-his-name and Woody Harrelson are NOT in it.

Favorite TV Shows

Law & Order, Rowan & Martins Laugh in, Johnny Carson , Csi, Medium, 60 Minutes, Carole Burnett, loved The Dean Martin Show!! Too bad we cann't revisit some of these great classics.

Activities

Camping, especially wilderness.(MAINE). Love to cook and entertain.Long walks, some bike riding, sewing, kids, grandkids, reading, writing recipe books for friends and family, and of course, computors.

Favorite Charities

Salvation Army, particularly thier rehab program. DAV.Local VA hospital.

Favorite Music

Love Music, Love to dance!!! All types spanning from oldies to hip hop and most in between. No heavy metal or Opera Please.
