I was born and raised in San Antonio and after serving in the Army, moved back to San Antonio. I went to work with the US Border Patrol in southern California and transfered to Houlton, Maine and then to Dallas in Criminal Investigations and eventually on the Vice President's Orgainzed Crime Drug Enforcement Task force. I retired in 97 with 33 years service. I have enjoyed working with the elderly, and did so at a Nurseing Home in the Mid Cities, where my wife had the beauty salon. I would read Bible verses and give mini lessons. When I learned they did not have a minister on Sundays I preached there until we moved to southern Louisiana. Once here I need to get back into the same mode. I began volunteering with the Children with disabilities, with the Acadiana Therapeutic Riding Organization wheer I still serve. I also teach a Bibical Version ot the 12 Step Program on Sunday morning Bible class. We have a group of some 30 men and women who are recovering from various addictions. At home my wife and I have her mother living with us, 82 years old, and we rescue stray dogs. We have 7 at the present time and we also have an African Grey Parrot, talks up a storm, and a Goffin Cockatoo. So now you know how I spend my days and I spend my late evening on the computer.
