My love of nature, animals and art has taken me down some interesting paths that have led to some unusual journeys. Marrying an Air Force Sgt. opened my eyes to the rest of the world and blessed me with the opportunity to live in Europe and meet other cultures. While living outside of Tampa Florida I started a wildlife rescue organization mainly for injured and orphaned birds of prey.

I am 51 yrs old, married, and have 3 grown children. I live with 4 dogs, 4 cats, and a red Lorey who talks too much.  I am the Director of Raven Oaks Raptor Sanctuary, a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, nonprofit org.

Activities

After hurricane Jeanne blew through in '04 I decided to move somewhere higher and dryer and landed in Georgia where I have rebuilt and reorganized another wildlife sanctuary for birds of prey. To help support the animals I travel to festivals and schools with my non-releasable birds and speak on the environmental importance of these beautiful creatures. Saving wildlife is my passion!

Favorite Charities

First it has to be Raven Oaks Raptor Sanctuary, Inc. We are a 501c3 and are always in need of medicines and supplies. Humane Society is my next one. God bless them!
