I grew up in Mobile, Al. and I do miss the ocean waves at Gulf Shores and Dauphin Island. Both of my maternal grandparents and my dad are buried there. Moved to Memphis in 1965 and met my husband in 1966. Married in 1967 and the rest is history!

Am homeschooling my grandsons at the present time and careing for house full of men! Hubby, Son, and the 2 grandsons. I was employed by Polaroid from 1990 - 1995 and for Fugi Film from 1997 until 2002. Downsized out of both jobs ... was a supervisor and traveled 6 states managing 8 reps. in numerous retail accts.

Will celebrate 40th wedding anniversary in May. Have 2 grandsons who call me Memaw and I (along with Pepaw) are helping to raise them. Our daughter in law died in 2001 and they were 2 & 3. I lost 50 lbs. in 2005 after diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes ... was not going to let it get me down! I enjoy reading, flowers, crocheting, and walking. I am a good Southern Cook! and love trying new recipes that eliminate sugars / starch. I lived in Memphis,Tn. for over 35 yrs. and recently moved back to Ms.
