Attended University City, Mo., High School from 1940 to 1942; At age 17 became one of the original "drop outs" to join the Army Air Force. After the war went back to see if I could enroll and earn HS diploma, but Principal Jim Baker said, "No, all you did in High School was gaze out the classroom window". Mr. B was very observant. Finally GED-ed in 1950s.
College Name
OXFORD UNIVERSITY, ENGLAND, 1943-1943 (was a U.S. Army communications sergeant attending one-week class in British Military "codes and cyphers". Passed the course, was certificated...(Hence, I was "a Yank at Oxford"...Sheeeeesh!!)
