I am from northern Michigan, on the Lake.  I loved it there, and still visit whenever I can. 

I am married, with one fabulous son who has just graduated from college.  I live in a mostly rural area on a small farm.  We keep chickens, ducks, geese, dogs and cats.  I garden, and love that my backyard is private and lush.  Last summer I created a new small pond, and am looking forward to expanding it this summer.  I love to cook and am always interested in trying new recipes.  I rarely end up following them, though.   

My husband just retired, and we travel quite often.  Our favorite places to visit are mainly in the southeast - Charleston SC, Myrtle Beach, and points in between.  Paris is still on my wishlist.  I have traveled in Switzerland, Italy and Canada.  

We are tent campers, and explorers of national parks and backroads. I am never lost - just looking at something I wasn't planning on. 

I am not much of a hiker, but am improving.    I like being in nature, but sports are really not my thing.  Individual pursuits, like yoga are more my cup of tea - loose, not bagged!

I am an antique dealer, artist and writer.  I recently took up photography again, after a long absence.  I like to combine the reality of photography with painterly effects -  Photoshop rules!
