Places I've been

Brookline, Massachusetts (Hometown), I am the oldest of five children born into an Air Force Family. As a youngster, we traveled all over the US. Born in Mass., my younger sister was also born in Mass. Then we moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, where my 2nd sister was born. I went to Kindergarten there. We then moved to Elmendorf AFB, Anchorage, Alaska, where my 3rd sister was born. I went to 1,2,3rd grade in Alaska. I have many fond memories of it. My husband & I took a cruise up the Inside Passage to see parts of Alaska. It was awesome! In the 4th grade, we moved to Shrewsbury, Mass. where my only brother was born. I attended 4th through 10 grade in Shrewsbury. We then moved to Utica, NY, where I finished High School, went to college for Dental Assisting and married my first husband. We moved to Agawam, Mass and then to Enfield, Ct. We had 2 sons. I divorced my first husband, was single for 4 years and then met my now husband. We moved to Tolland, Ct where we lived until 2004. We now live in Riverview, Florida, near Tampa. My boys are grown, one son is married,the other son is in a serious relationshop. I have a granddaughter and a grandson. I have been married to a precious man for 18 years now. We love Florida but miss our families, who still live in NY and Ct. We try to get up there once or twice a year to visit. I became a nurse in 1984 and worked until Sept 2007. I had to quit work because of ongoing health issues. Faith in God is really helping me right now. I joined Eons In May 2007. Have met some Florida people in person in the Tampa Group & the Monkey Group. Love Eons and all my new friends. I am an animal lover. Have 2 dogs and a cat right now. Love the beach,, sunshine, movies, reading,traveling, cuises, music. Life over 50 is proving to be a challenge!

I am a happily married woman with 2 grown sons and a daughter in law. I have one granddaughter and one grandson. Most of my life has been spent working as a Nurse. I did that for 25 years. I am now retired due to health issues. I miss working with the elderly & the comraderie between Nurses. I am enjoying my time with my Eons friends, some of whom, I have met in person. My husband & I love to travel. We spent many years taking camping trips all over the East from Florida to maine. We also love to cruise. Our favorite cruise was to Alaska. I now live in Florida, after spending 52 years of my life in the Northeast. Florida is lovely and I couldn't be happier. At times I miss my family, still up North but I manage to see them twice a year. Mostly, I miss my granddaughter. I do not miss the cold, snow or ice at all. I only miss the beautiful leaves in the Autumn that we had in the Northeast. I am where I want to be, enjoying my life and looking forward to the future.

I am told my sense of humor is my best asset.
