Visited family in Florida quite a bit. My favorite place there is the Everglades and my favorite urban area, Fort Lauderdale. We've also cruised to Mexico and the western Caribbean. My favorite places there are Belize and Ixtapa.

I was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 13, 1950 and never thought I would leave the city much less the state. I am the oldest of three daughters in an all female household (my parents were divorced in 1954). I loved to read and learned to do my work right the first time in my Lutheran grade school. I was in all honors classes in high school and was the captain of the first team from our public high school to appear on It's Academic. I met my husband in our school library during our Junior year. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a masters' in Counseling Psychology. We have been married since October 17, 1971 and have two grown daughters. We have also been blessed with two grandsons. We moved to Ohio in 1982 because of a job transfer and I love it here. My husband is a programmer and I stay home, taking care of our four year old grandson. That really keeps me young as well as on my toes!

Activities

Building and coding for online MUD's (Multi-User Dungeons - text based Dungeons and Dragons type of games), sewing, knitting, crocheting, walking, working out at the Y with strength training and cardio machines, reading, camping, playing computer games, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, logic puzzles, sudokos, Pinochle, Canasta, photography, playing piano and guitar, Weight Watchers, and *definitely* spoiling my two grandsons.

Doo Wop, 50's and early 60's, Elvis, The Beatles, Peter Paul and Mary, Glenn Miller, Chris De Burgh, Mozart, and Bach. My favorite songs include Morse Code of Love, Unchained Melody, Here Is Your Paradise, The Lady In Red, Where the Boys Are, I Was The One, In The Mood, Moonlight Serenade, It's Only Make Believe, Wonderful Tonight, Remember Then, and In My Life.

CSI (all three versions), House, The Sopranos, Supernanny, Hell's Kitchen, 48 Hours Mystery, Law and Order (all versions), Family Guy, King of the Hill, Bones, Without A Trace, Shark, Two And A Half Men, and Cold Case.
