I am a Maritimer having been born and raised in Nova Scotia. Love the sea and the scent of the ocean. I stayed away for over 50 years living in Alberta, but I couldn't wait to get back to the home town and the ocean once again.

Hi There!  I'm a Canadian who is probably related to just about everyone in New England.  It's true!!!  If you do any genealogy, you will know how these relatives of ours got in their little boats and rowed back between New England and Nova Scotia.  I'm sure that's why I have so many American cousins! Anyway I had a wonderful visit with just such a cousin last Fall in Providence, and I love the entire Eastern seaboard. 

Had my first visit to Fort Lauderdale last month in April when I took a Carribean cruise.  Loved the canals there and all the ships and boats.  Such a beautiful spot.
