Places I've been: I lived in MN for the first 21 years of my life, have traveled to various states due to Basketball and Soccer for many many years. I have finally gotten to see my parents' place in Florida, it's beautiful there. I now call Colorado my home, and I truly believe I'm here to stay. I love the mountains!
More about me: So much to say, not sure where to start...
I see myself to be charasmatic, funny, and witty with a strong personality, some say I'm type A. Very analytical, and everything has it's place. I make jokes saying I have OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) but many come back saying it's OCO (obsessive compulsive order). I am very organized and orderly. I like to keep my house and office clean, so I know where everything is. I love to make people laugh, and am convinced that is one of the most important gifts I have been blessed with. I am very versatile and flexible. I am fluent in Spanish, and it has given me so many opportunities.
My parents are the two most important people in my life, and I wouldn't change a thing. My dad (my mom's husband, who is technically my step-dad) is my dad to me, and that's how I see him. He has been a strong force in my life for almost 20 years now, and he has taught me so many things, from A to Z. He never missed a horse show, or a basketball or soccer game. He is a hard worker, and deserves all the good life has rewarded him with. I am so blessed to have him in my life.
My mom is the most amazing woman I've ever known. Times weren't always easy, but she never skipped a beat, and made sure we never went without. She's the type of woman that when life has handed her lemons, she made lemonade, and is now stronger and happier than ever. She has been my #1 fan since I can remember, whether it's been horse shows, dance, gymnastics, soccer, basketball, you name it. I can't say enough about her, and now I'm her #1 fan. We have our mother/daughter moments, but isn't that what life is about!?! :) Since moving to Colorado (4 years now) our bond has grown stronger and closer than ever. Now when we are together, we're like Thelma and Louise...just a couple of nuts. :)
I would say heroes in my life would include: my parents, my late grandparents, and all of those who serve everyday of their lives to fight for what we believe in.
I love my dogs - Jaxson (Jack Russell/Bull Terrier mix) and Savannah (French Bulldog/Pitbull mix). They have added such joy to my life, and there isn't a day they don't put a smile on my face, and laughter in my heart. I rescued both of them, and if I could rescue more, I would. They both have a rough background, but now I can assure anyone, they are more loved and spoiled than ever, especially by grandma! lol
I love to do so many things! I love taking long walks, especially on the beach collecting shells, biking, rafting, snowshoeing, hiking, and playing with my furry children at the doggie park. I love trying different wines, cooking, and entertaining. I miss my horses, and horseback riding with my mom, we were a couple of crazy cowgirls! I love basketball and soccer. I enjoy watching NFL and soccer on TV. I enjoy time spent with good friends and good wine. I used to be the person with many friends, but I've learned to cherish and appreciate having only few, but very good friends. I like taking time to myself, listening to good music, and writing. I love music, and I have a VERY eclectic taste in music. I like just about all genres, excluding heavy metal, hard rock, and rap.
I truly try to live life to the fullest, and live my life in a manner that would make anyone proud, including myself.

Favorite Charities: Any that involves a cure for Breast Cancer. I'm participating in the Avon walk here in Colorado. It's a 2-day (40 mile) walk the end of June. My team name is "Doin' it for the Girls." My grandmother passed away from breast cancer, and my aunt is in remission.
Favorite Music: ALL OF IT! Except hard rock, heavy metal, and rap.
Favorite TV Shows: American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, Biggest Loser, House, Dancing with the Stars, and most anything on the Discovery Health, Discovery, Animal Planet, and History channels.
Favorite Movies: Any good chick flick, action, adventure, thriller, mystery, drama, comedy...
