I love to read, garden, antique shop, listen to music (mostly jazz and oldies). I share my life with a wonderful little border collie mix and the highlight of my weekends is taking her for a walk around Lakebottom Park. For the last 15 or so years, I've worked in education, doing computer programming and actuarial reports for pension plans before that. I was divorced about 25 years ago and never remarried. I never had kids and never heard any biological clocks ticking. I volunteer with hospice and with the local animal shelter.

If you haven't done so, please check out the Columbus Jazz Society. We meet every 2nd Sunday, 6-9p.m. at the Liberty Theatre downtown. There is a performance and jam every month. The society was formed in '87 and was modeled after the Hartford Jazz Society in CT. where I was once a member. This month was the Big Band music of the Caveliers. The music varies month to month but is always jazz. Just found this group ... think I'll join!...welcome to Columbus!
