I live in lovely Alameda and have for almost 9 years. I like the small town vibe and pace.
I was in high tech for 20 years and finally tired of all that 24/7 everythings-an-emergency life. Eight years ago I went back to the profession I was trained to do originally - teaching. I now teach high school to special education students and like my new job - it's tough but rewarding!
I would like to find some Alameda buddies - for evening walks and exercise, coffee, dinner, movies or what ever.
I am a long-time divorcee, with no kids of my own - just the 40 or so I see every day at work. ;-)
