I've vacationed in New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida. I've visited New York for day trips. I've never been further than the eastern seaboard (except in my dreams). I definitely prefer Misquamicut Beach to Cape Cod beaches. And I most definitely prefer warm weather to cold.

Where do I start?  I'm simple, but complex. Hard-working and lazy.  Mostly loving and caring, but cold as ice at times.  Easy to read but sometimes hard to figure out.  Loyal, but only when deserved.  I'm extremely up-front and honest with everyone I meet - until they disappoint me.  Every time I'm disappointed by someone, I withdraw from them further and further until I want nothing to do with them at all.  I don't mean little disappointments like picking the wrong restaurant or gift, but big disappointments like lying to me.  I need to be able to trust the people in my life or I don't want them there.  My son is the only person I'll keep in my life after he lied to me (heck, most kids do lie to their parents).  I'm pretty cynical, but that's because of my life experiences.  People have called me pessimistic but I see it more as realistic.  Besides, if I don't expect too much of an event, or person, there's more chance that I'll be pleasantly surprised instead of disappointed.I love to laugh and I'm mostly irreverent. I do respect most of my friends and acquaintences, but I stand in awe of no one.I hate housework.  I do enough of it to be almost at ease if someone drops by, but I'd rather have notice so I can clean it a little better.
