Long Beach Symphony, Long Beach City College Foundation, Cancer Society, Legal Aid of Los Angeles, Progressive 5 of Long Beach (A different small charity every other month serving children) and many more.

Favorite Music

All kinds of music: Jazz, Symphony classics, opera, light opera, pops, country, and more.

Favorite TV Shows

Do not watch too much t.v. I do like American Idol and Deal or No Deal. PBS programs.

Favorite Movies

Pirates of the Caribbean, the Curse of the Black Pearl; Il Postino (The Postman); What the Bleep do I know; the movie with Borat; I like movies that are happy movies. The Tripletts of Bellvue. (Not one word of dialogue and made in France but you understand every bit of it.

The Art of Happiness by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, The Tale of Murasaki by Liza Dalby, Don't Let's Go to the Dogs Tonight, All books by Tony Hillerman, The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls, Inez of my Soul by Isabel Allende, Fifth Chinese Daughter by Wong, The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, the Robber Bride by Margaret Atwood, Left to Tell by Ilibagiza, the Awaking by Kate chopin, The entire series by Alexander MC Call Smith, Iron and Silk by Mark Saltzman, All of the Harry Potter Books, The Fishing Club by Bob Rich (for those that like fishing this is a marvelous book, Bloodlines by Jan Burke (a mystery). Those are but a few of my favorite books.
