    • I read your reply to my post in the camping clan. The Kabins at the KOA Kampgrounds have a double bed and bunk beds. We have stayed in one two years in a row when they have their special weekend to benifit camps for kids with cancer. We have found the KOA to be fun, very quiet and very clean. Nice store, laundry and thing to do. It is a lot easier then Tent camping.

    • If it's been a number of years since you've tried tent camping you're in for a pleasant surprise. New tents are a snap to put up/take down, light to handle - after the heavy canvas of 40 yrs ago. You'll love it. I'm 15 years your senior & "these old bones" handle tent camping very well. In addition, with a tent, you don't have the hassle of towing anything. Go for it - & your grandkids will love you for it. Guaranteed.

    • I saw your reply on the Camping Clan. You were looking for tips on Tent camping. Buy a cabin tent, one you can stand up in. Target usually have nice ones. Eddie Bauer Tents are nice. Also get your self a portable bed. That way you don't have to get down on the ground. If you like more comfort buy one of the air mattresses. The new tents are pretty easy to set up. When camping in the woods make sure you keep your food in your vehicle, also any soups and personal items. Bears just love that stuff. I hope this helps alittle.
