About me
Hi, I am a special education teacher living in Wasilla, Alaska. I am 52, divorced for a couple of years, and have a weekend job besides teaching at the local Home Depot. I have two grown children, and two grandchildren. My interests include reading, cross-stitching, cribbage (especially tournament cribbage), cooking, travel and more.
What makes me unusual? I don't watch tv, although I enjoy an occasional movie. Also, I try to be totally genuine and honest online, which is very rare, I've found! My claim to fame? I lived for four years in an Eskimo village over 700 miles from the nearest road, mall, and a lot of other conveniences. I am commited to growing as a person as long as I live, and remaining interested in passion and intimacy, though never on a casual basis.
Where do I want to be in 8 years? Retired and enjoying the company of someone I intrigued and met and fell for from eons!

Divorced

Now that you are over 50, what are you doing that you never thought you would?
I never thought I would live alone and (for the most part) like it. I always saw myself with a lifetime partner/lover. I also never thought I would be energetic enough at this age to enjoy having two jobs (which I do). I am surprised to see how much of a "work in progress" I am.
How many children do you have?
2 - 3
What is your educational background?
Graduate School
What organizations do you belong to?
I am a member of the NEA (with some reservations)! I also belong to a couple of honor societies. I'm not much of a "joiner"!

A trip to Italy, at least two weeks, with a lover!
