More about me

• For those who want honesty, here it is. For those who don't, look somewhere else.
• First, I am a geek.   Things, processes fascinate me.
  
• Believing that emotion is the fuel and reason the control, I strive to have my head govern my heart and I never intrude where I am not wanted since, on the rare occassions when I want to, I can usually find someplace else where I will be welcomed. I make a rotten saleman but an excellent analyst.
• I am easy going and a nice guy but I am not a fanatic about it. One person who challenged that and tried to rob me spent 4 months in jail.
• I have survived things that have killed others. Why I survived, I don't know. I sat in a hospital ward with my wife for her final 37 days as a cancer killed her costing the world, and especially me, a beautiful, talented, caring lady. I think that it also killed a part of me as well, or at least drove it into deep cover. That caused me to rethink a lot of things; there are many who don't like the conclusions.
• I have always had an offbeat, rather different sense of humor. Lately, I get most of my humor from watching humans.
• I am now often alone, but seldom lonley.
• I tell the truth. It's easier than remembering what lies were told to whom and nobody believes me anyway. In one case the cost was close to $75,000, in another, her life.
• Where friends are concerned I will always select quality over quantity. I deserve, and have, the best of the best. And all ages; the youngest is 14 and the oldest about 90.
• My daughters are very important; they call I come. That simple.
• I have the patience of a hunting cat.
• I am continually fascinated by the natural world. It is beautiful but brutal. One thing that shows both is the stoop, the signature attack dive, of a peregrine falcon.
