More about me

About me: My professional background is in criminal justice. I have approximately thirty two years of law enforcement experience. I retired as a Detective, with twenty years of service, from the Payson Police Department in June 2001. I still work part time in the criminal justice system (one or two days a week) as a Deputy Constable in the Payson Precinct. Constables mainly serve legal papers such as; summons, subpoenas, writs, etc., and occasionally we get involved in some enforcement activity. I've been taking Distance Learning courses from Rio Salado College since the fall of 1998. I have completed my certificate in computer technology and various other computer and general education courses. I have about twelve credit hours to go to complete my associate's degree. Thinking about why I like to write these blog enteries... roaming around in my mind is a wanna-be writer. All the writing courses I have taken recommended keeping a daily journal. In these courses I would start out real enthusiastically and write in my journal for the first several days, but then I’d just quit for some reason. I think the difference here is; there is the off chance someone might read what I write and find it meaningful, amusing, or in someway useful.

com Music If you really want to tune in to where I’m at with music, you’ll just have to subscribe to commercial free Sirius Satellite Radio, the only way to go if you love music. In the morning - and while walking my path I like Sirius Satellite Radio Lite Rock channels: 02 Starlite with songs like - True Colors by Phil Collins and Breath by Anna Nalick and 03 Sirius Love with songs like – Truly Madly Deeply by Savage Garden and Keep Your Love Alive by Heart. In the afternoon – and while lifting weights I like Classic Rock channels: 14 Classic Vinyl – with songs like - On the Road Again by Canned Heat and Nature’s Way by Spirit and channel 15 Classic Rewind with songs like Abacab by Genius and In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel. These aren’t the only channels I listen to, just my favorites.
