History

Places I've been
Wallingford, Kentucky (Hometown), Wallingford, Ky. is a small country town . . . and I still have an affinity for the country. Our family moved to Ashland, Ky. when I was five years old. Then we moved to our new home in Russell. Shortly after graduating high school I moved to Washington, D.C. to work at the Identification Building for the FBI. While living in D.C. I had the opportunity to visit many precious sites connected with our country. Have you ever walked to the top of the Washington Monument or seen the Lincoln Memorial? Lincoln Memorial and Jefferson Memorial seen Arlington Cemetery, JFK's eternal flame in Virginia? JFK\'s eternal flame the Capitol, the Whitehouse? Oh how I love this country. At the National Archives in DC I got to see this: National Archives There is more to see I haven't mentioned, and if you have the opportunity to vist D.C. I highly recommend you do. States I have lived in or visited are: Kentucky, Ohio, W. Va., Maryland, Va., North and South Carolina myrtle beach! Nashville, Tennessee Nashville 027 Georgia, Florida, Walt Disney World Alabama, Mississippi New Orleans,Lousiana, new orleans Missouri, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan. No foreign countries as yet.

May I suggest a group by the name of Friends. It is a great group, with great people in it.
Isaiah 40:28-29 The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak. And to those who have no might He increases strength.

About me

Retired  a little over two years ago. I feel like I have worked my entire life except for maybe 5 or 6 years. I did enjoy working, but I am glad I have retired.  One of the first jobs I had was working for the FBI in Washington, DC. I have two beautiful grandsons, one is Gunnur who is 6  and the second one is Griffin who is 4. Ergo . . . GunGriff. I hope to be around in the future to see both of my grandsons graduate from high school. I was almost sixty before becoming a grandmother, so I want to love and cherish them with my remaining time here on this earth. Photobucket

I enjoy meeting people and sharing conversation.  A group that I am in is Let's Talk, check it out, it has really great people in it.  "Public, but with approval only."  I have read so many of my favorite authors, that I find myself searching for new ones.  Have joined a book club Bookaholics, and have found many suggestions for reading. The group is very diversified in their selections.  I am looking forward  to seeing if I like some of the books they suggest.  I belong to Grandkids, and find I can discuss and brag about my grandsons to my heart's content.  If you want bragging rights too, consider joining this group.  If you have a special story to share, come and share it with us.  Love to hear your stories, and experiences regarding your grandchildren.  Memory Lane is a really fun group.  People sharing different things from the past.  THERE IS A GROUP BY THE NAME Seniors 65 AND UP. THIS IS AN INVITATION TO JOIN AND SHARE SOME OF YOUR LIFE EXPERIENCES.  'Friends' is a great group.  Just a note to say how glad I am to have met so many interesting people on Eons, and I am hoping to meet many more through Eons web site.
