I grew up in New England and New York, the oldest of 10. My mother and the rest of my family, including my son and his wife, all live in the new England area. My daughter and her two children live in Southern CA - so I am far away from all. Here on the Delmarva Peninsula, (ever here of it??) I live two different lives - one during the school year when I teach a unique group of girls with autism, and one during the summer when I am FREE to travel the world or whatever strikes my fancy. However since I make my $$$ teaching, traveling the world IS just a fantasy and I spend my summers taking short trips with friends and visiting my family. When at home I love to read, work in the garden, try to keep my home in standing and presentable condition, do a little volunteer work, cook ( BUT hate to clean up) play and shop on my computer, and read, read , read. I love good music, chocolate, good food, good( and maybe not so good) wine and being with friends. While politically and philosophically WAY to the left, I live a very conservative life. Nearing retirement-I am searching for new adventures and interests but what and where still remain a mystery....
