Places I've been

I have travelled to quite a few cities; Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, Orlando, St.Louis, Milwaukee, Dallas, New Orleans, Kansas City, and Seattle just to name a few. Most of these trips have been business. My husband and I are just now starting to travel for fun. We have been to Alaska, the Bahamas, and this spring went to Hawaii. More trips are planned for 2009, maybe Alaska again!

ME!

I'm no one important, except to my family. I was born and grew up in the same small town of Vandalia, population less than 3,000. I married a man who was also born on a small farm outside of town, where we live now.

I love small town life, it has a lot going for it. My husband and I raised our three children here and they had an idyllic childhood. They turned out OK, and we are proud of our two daughters and our son. We had one daughter move to Chicago, but she visits occasionally.

We also have three grandchildren, two girls and a boy. We spend a lot of time with our two grand-daughters. I especially spoil them outrageously, but they are good kids.

I still work with my husband at our own business, which is filling orders for specialty online sporting goods stores. I go to work each day and find fullfillment in a job well done.

I love to read, watching good movies, and travelling. I have convinced my husband that we need to take vacations and go see new places. He has agreed, and he lets me choose where to go next. We have been to Alaska and the Bahamas. Next spring we are going to Hawaii. I especially like going on cruises.

In this phase of my life I am happy, hope you are too!
