Since I started travel nursing this year, I've taken assignments in Hartford, CT, Big Spring, TX, Santa Barbara, CA, Dahlonega, GA and Kingsport, TN. All are beautiful & I can't wait to see what's next!

I love quilts, especially the "crazy quilt" designs. Perhaps because they reflect my personailty as well as my tastes, and now that I think about it, my life. Delicate pieces of velvet & satin inextricably joined to swatches of cotton & wool with lace, ribbons and cords, some left plain and others randomly embellished with samples of stitchings and small embroidered vignettes creating a jumbled tumbled unique blend of artwork and utility. Simple yet intricate, both sophisticated and earthy, revealing the kaliedascope heart of its creator.

THINGS I LOVE (in no particular order): Gardening, landscaping & remodeling projects; Sewing, quilting, & crafting of all sorts; Painting, drawing, sculpting, & creating in any form; Playing guitar (and some day piano & flute); Writing songs, poems & stories; Nature walks & dancing (and when I get in better shape I want to go hiking, camping and maybe even backpacking up the Appalachians!); Learning new things, seeing new places, meeting new people.
