Places I've been

I am very fortunate to have been many places, but mostly in the USA. I have been in about 44 states, some just traveling through, and others for a few days stay. I now live in Peeples Valley, Arizona, but have a home in Mammoth, AZ also. How I got here: When I was 12 years old my parents moved out here for my father's health. He lived seven years longer then the doctors said he would, we were greatful for that. My father died when I was 19 years old, and I still miss him. My mother lives near me and we talk almost everyday. I love her dearly. My husband and I do Home Improvement together. Wouldn't have it any other way. We also sing together. We have made one CD and are working on our second. We have sang all over the USA for the past 6 years. I love being a grandmother. I have two children of my own, with three grandchildren on my side, and my husband has three children with two and one third grandchildren on his side. We are blessed.

More about me

I love to meet new people. I enjoy decorating homes that my husband and I remodel for ourselves and for others. I do a lot of painting flowers and borders on my walls, and faux painting in different colors. I just did a red wall in the leather look for my mom, she loves it, yeah!!! I enjoy writing, I have written several books for my grandchildren of all the trips we take to go see them. They love it. I do woodworking, in my spare time, ha ha!! I really love to cook and bake new recipes. I would like to retire someday so I can do my crafts more, but people say you seem to find more to do after you retire, and I am to busy now, so I am not sure I want to retire. I do have a great husband. We work together and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Activities

Performing (music), sewing, woodworking, drawing, hiking, traveling I love all the above, just don't have time to do it all right now.

My husband and I sing gospel music all over the country. We love it. Country music

Favorite TV Shows

We don't have time for TV, we do have one, but we do not have cable or local channels, we just use it to watch a movie in the evenings before going to bed.

Favorite Places

I love all the states I have been in and could probably tell you something about all of them that I liked, but Oregon and Kentucky are my favorite. I love Oregon for all the green, and I love Kentucky for the blue grass and the mountains.

Favorite Animals

I love cats, but I don't have time for animals right now, so I don't have any. I also like small dogs.
