More about me

I'm 51, and live in Cumming, GA, a suburb north of Atlanta.  I have 2 grown sons, both married, and 4 exceptionally beautiful, intelligent, delightful grandchildren.  I've worked in information technology for going on 30 years, so I guess you could call it a career.  I work way too much, but I enjoy it.  I grew up mostly in Missouri and went to High School in Jefferson City.  I moved to the Atlanta area in 1986.  My family is still in Jefferson City, Holts Summit, and Springfiled Missouri, except for my liberal brother who lives in New Hampshire. 

I'm a big fan of "character", you know, like honesty, taking responsibility for your own actions, integrity, and ethics.  I admire a person more for his principals than his posessions.  Be nice.  Don't hurt anyone on purpose.  Be real.  Help each other.  And love someone.

Activities

Family & friends, nature. I love spending time with the grandkids. I also enjoy reading, gardening, feeding birds (and squirrels), and my dogs. I watch way too much TV. I prefer science fiction, as it's currently the smartest thing available, and generally doesn't include excessive violence, but am also addicted to sitcoms and some animated shows (secretly watches South Park, dude). Politically, I'm conservative, preferring Fox News. And I'm into crafts, needlework, and photography. I'll get around to posting some pics on here someday.

SciFi, Comedy, anything vaguely weird. Disney movies, like Shrek & Nemo. I enjoy a good horror movie, but not blood-n-guts slashers. I'm not into sappy romances. I do like action movies, Scwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, etc.
