I have travelled quite a bit. Growing up we always took a trip to see relatives in both Texas and New Mexiso. Then up to Red River New Mexico to Trout fish. Then up to Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak to see friends Dad was in Navy with. This was a time in the 50's and 60's when families would always visit if even for a day or two. I have pictures that are precious to me of these times. When I married in 64 we went to see his relatives in Gadston Alabama. I loved it because I got to see how his Dad grew up. After the divorce I took a trip with the kids to Corpus Christi and slept on the beach at Padre Island. Then we went to San Antonio. I promised the kids we would pick one place a year and go. I remarried but realized my mistake soon after and divorced. Then after my divorce I decided to treat myself to a trip to Hawaii. I had just lost my Dad and Mom who had gome Home in 73 and 79 and I needed time away from real life. I let myself go and had one heck of a time. I came back relaxed and ready to go after what I wanted. Then in 1985 I took the kids to Disney World. I only wish I had taken along a leash to tie around their waist. I admire the mothers now who use this to keep up with their kids. I have lived in Arizona and fell in love with it when my job transferred me in 1988. I said when I retire I would come back, when my job sent me back to Texas. I did go back and boy do I love it. I found out I really love Amtrack after a long trip and it is really cheaper than flying, renting a car etc. You still get the views without the cost of GAS. I have always liked watching Soap Operas on daytime TV. I have been doing this for quite sometime since the 50's when I was sick and had to stay with my GreatAunt. She always watched during the day at the sametime. I admit it I am a Soap Opera Addict. I joined the LDS church in 1989 and have done many activities that have given me a chance to give back to others and have a warm and fuzzy felling ewhen I do.

I have started my own business with a friend. It took me a while to get started because I wanted to teach myself about HTML.
I read postings on EONS and messages that related to what I wanted. I asked question of friends and 1 teacher as to how to do this certain thing. I finally got finished with it and now I have my own business. I do it over the internet and go to craft shows and flea markets. I really like this because I can tell myself what to do and when to do it and not have a boss looking over my shoulder. I like to get awaywhenever I can. I love doing Church work. I am very involved with several Hospitals as a volunteer in the Senior Homes. Since I started my own business it is quite a step for me to learn the ins and outs.
I have gone back researching my Mothers anchestry to the 1300's. I have gone back to the 1600's on my Dads. I found a web site that is an actual site for Hudson relatives. I never realized how many people I was connected to. I started a few years ago with my Dads and have gotten to the 1800's. I have a long way to go with his but I will get there.
I have been involved for the past few years with learning how to blog. I also love to watch Soap Operas. I have been a fan since I was 6 years old. I was sick with a cold and my great aunt baby sit me and she got me hooked. Over the past year I got hooked on internet neews about SOAPS. I have now started a group about SOAPS. I love gathering information and sharing it.
I have had numerous health problems over the years. I have had surgeries hospital stays and stays in Rehab Facilities to learn how to walk again. I now have a good relationship with these places because I go back every few months. At the hospital and the rehap I know most of the nurses and they know me.
I was diagnosed about a month ago with Parkinsons. It hit me like a ton of bricks. I cried and wondered how I would handle it. I starting going to support meetings. It made me feel like ok stop feeling sorry for your self and enjoy life. I. I will embrace life and not let this little speed bump get me down. I had a fight with my Kidney but I am winning
