I am a physically active person. Trained to teach water aerobics I do "pool aerobics" three times a week. I go to the gym several times a week . Like to take walks with my two little Mini-Pincher dogs. They were both adopted from the Animal Shelter and they are the best little girls imagenable! I'm an avid reader and enjoy psycological thrillers. Also enjoy traveling to places in and out of United States. I've travelled all over Europe. Been to Hawaii the Mexican Riviera. Also have plans to go to Europe again this year. I volunteer at the Animal Shelter as I'm a real animal lover. I love helping people, especially underpriveledged children. I retired from regular teaching two years ago.

My taste in music is eclectic, depending on my mood! As you can see from my playlist, I love romantic songs. My musical taste ranges from older standards and Elvis to Jazz and Blues and classical music. Mozart is my favorite composer. My favorite musical groups are "Abba", "Eagles" and "Chicago". Also like the old 50's and 60's Rock'n Roll!

As an incurable romantic, My favorite love stories are : " Doctor Zhivago" and " "Casablanca". I also enjoyed "An Officer and Gentleman", Also like musicals and enjoyed Saturday Night Fever";

I just finished reading " The Kite Runner"- an excellent book! Before that I read " A Thousand Splendid Suns", another great piece of literature! Also like James Patterson, Jonathan Kellerman; and Robin Cook. Like to read murder mysteries, as well as phsycological thrillers, as psychology is part of my profession.

"Love conquers all". I'm a hopeless romantic and a "strawberries and champagne" kind of a woman. I love walking on the beach watching the sunset, holding hands with a man I love. I believe in strong spiritual connections. Another favorite quote of mine is :" It's not your enemies words you need to fear; it is your friends' silence".

San Diego, CA; San Francisco; All of Scandinavia; Mexican Riviera; and my own home! I especially love San Diego because I love the ocean in all its majesty!

I love all animals but dogs are definetely my favorites! I've had dogs all my life. As a child in Finland I had a Cocker Spaniel, called Annie. When our kids were small we had a collie named Sheena. We've also had two toy poodles, Mini-Pincers and my kids had small pets as well, such as Guinea Pigs, etc.

Bob Hope! He played at a golf tournament at the Air Base we were stationed at. We were fortunate to have dinner with him and some of the base dignitaries at the Officers' Club!
