I have also lived in Hadley Mass. and the Algerian Sahara Desert (2 years). Spent time in St Vincent, Jamaica, Cuba, Dom. Rep., Nausau. I have visited numerous cities in the UK, Paris, Algiers, Frankfurt, Munich, Amsterdam, Riyadh, St Lucia, Martinique, Greenland (spectacular Kangerlussuaq, and Nuuq), Iceland, Lima, Costa Rica, Mexico, Seoul Korea.. just to name drop a few :-)

Activities

Spending times with the kids. Cycling, swimming, snowshoeing, what ever gets me up and outdoors. I love to cook and especially so on the BBQ.

First and foremost- Motown. After that, anything with horns. R&B; Powder Blues, South Side Johnny, Gary US Bonds. Blues; Etta James, Rock; Nickleback, The Tragically Hip, some latin music; Afro-Cuban Allstars, Classical (solo cello and piano especially) for background when I am in that mood.

Comedies- King of Queens, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Dave Chappelle, TV Series- I bought all seasons of the Sopranos, Rescue Me, The Job (there was only 1 ) Band of Brothers. Shows I try to tune in to when I have TV- First 48; The Dog Whisperer; Bobby Fley; Flipping Out; Buy Me;

Too many- The first 2 Godfathers, Good Fellas, Scarface, Miller's Crossing, Lock, Stock and Two Loaded Barrels and other Jason Statham films; Most DeNiro films; Same for Pacino; Casino Royale (Daniel Craig will make the first good Bond since Connery); Road to Perdition; The Green Mile; Saving Private Ryan;

Favorite Books

I go through phases, read almost all Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan series; moved on to James Patterson- especially his Det Cross series, but most of his other ones too; Lately I have been reading Ian Rankin's books- especially his DI Rebus series; Gwynne Dyer's books on middle east politics- Ignorant Armies, Future Tense, The Mess They Made; And many other authors in between.
