Recently turned 60 (yuck). Living close to Jersey shore but no longer live on water (miss it) Worked as a caseworker in the past, not working now. Brought up on a 90 acre farm. Tend to be a recluse. Love music, movies, reading, art.
I live in a senior community but I don't really feel like a senior yet. In some ways I'm only a freshman. I am looking forward to retirement. I don't mind work but I hate office politics and taking orders from idiots.
I went to college in Ohio during the Kent State period and didn't have a graduation ceremony because all state universities closed down early that year. We had ideals in those days. Living in this crazy world, it's hard to remain idealistic. I always say a cynic is just an idealist gone sour.
