High School Name (City, State)
I attended St. Mary's Academy, Glens Falls, New York. The school is a massive stone building that had a Great Hall for assemblies. It always reminded me of a medieval castle. At St. Mary's I learned that I loved French and hated gym. I made some good friends with whom I am still in touch and I got a good foundation for college.
College Name
After High School, I went to the College of Saint Rose, in Albany, my state capital. A small girls' school, it went coed my first year. I majored in English and French and Religious Studies and was the editor of the school newspaper. I really enjoyed my college years.
College Graduation Year
For graduate school, I went to Goddard College in Vermont for my Masters and later to Greenwich University for my Ph.D. Both are non traditional schools which encouraged independent study. I thoroughly enjoyed my work in both places and felt they gave me a good preparation for my career. At Goddard, I met students from all over the world, which was an amazing experience.
College Graduation Major/Concentration
In College, I had a triple major of English, French and Religious Studies. Both of my graduate degrees are in psychology. My Masters is in Grief Counseling and my Ph.D is in Counseling Psychology. I am a specialist in grief and psychological trauma.
Occupation(s)
I am a psychotherapist in private practice. I mostly work with grieving patients, although I also have patients with other issues. I teach psychology on the college level and also do consulting in a junior/senior high school.

I am a psychologist and educator in private practice. I am an avid murder mystery fan, a cross stitcher and an animal lover. I love to cook and read. I am quiet but have a good sense of humor. I am married to a wonderful man from Ireland and finally can understand his brogue!
