Places I've been: Born, raised and educated in New York City and loved it. Stayed until my late twenties then moved Upstate New York. Very beautiful and picturesques incredible mountain range that changes with seasons and Hudson River whose water stays salty from ocean to the Hudson Valley. The Hudson Valley of New York State the Kingston area where I live is quite historical. In fact, Kingston was the first Capital of New York State. As lovely as the valley is my heart lies with the ocean. My retreat is the island of Gloucester and Rockport in Massachusetts. I love the smell of the salty sea air, the rocky New England coastline, the warm and friendliness of the people.
More about me: Hello..I am a woman who believes in living by "treating others how you would want to be treated" . This forces us to "think" before "doing". As they say, simple but not easy.
When life's road gets bumpy and curvy and headed for the ditch put on the brakes and "let go and let God". I believe in the power of the Universe and saying of affirmations and teaching our children to reach for the moon and the stars.
I think "giving back" ...is priceless. Like most others, I have aspirations, dreams goals that I believe will be achieved . All simple, but not easy.
More About Me: Above is my "30 second" introduction to the basic "soul" of who I am. However, since I have accepted being Manager of Beauty Tips group,perhaps I should tell more about me.
I have 20 plus years in the beauty profession as a fully licensed cosmetologist, esthetican and a certified color educator. I have owned my own salon and managed corporate salons.
It will be my pleasure to share with you some of my knowledge and experiences.
I have always worked with an open door policy so questions and issues can be answered and I have always assumed that this policy would be treated with respect by both myself and participants.
OK this is short and very condensed but hey, it went over time allowed...LOL
