More about me

I'm John Jorgenson and work here at Earthwatch as the Director of Marketing and Communications.  After spending years in corporate America, I decided to move (along with my wife and 3 kids) from Michigan to Boston to work for Earthwatch.  I saw an urgent need to make a difference and haven't looked back!  One key part of our mission is connecting and engaging people.  Afterall, it will take ALL of us to address the huge environmental challenges we all face.

Activities

In addition to working at Earthwatch, I love coaching and playing soccer, swimming in Fort Pond in Acton, MA and the Atlantic (brrrr!), and cooking for my family.

"In America, " "Last of the Mohicans, " "Sling Blade, " "Whale Rider, " "Wizard of Oz" Just saw the Irish busking movie "Once" which was fantastic. Love "Good Will Hunting" as well.

As if I have time to read! I try to keep up with current pubs, like The Economist, Harpers, Orion, Boston Globe, etc.
