Served 10 years with the U.S. Army Medical Corp in different places around the world. After the military lived in Texas for a while, and then Colorado for a couple of decades. Moved to Northern California in 2001 and currently live in Fairfield.

More about me

A spiritual person, non-denominational, non-religious, practicing a combination of techniques, meditation, etc., which I was introduced to back in the 1970's. I am currently retired from the work-a-day world and have alot of time on my hands. I do alot of volunteer work, mainly with kids, and I also go camping alot. That is one of the things I like about California is it's diverse landscape; in the winter I go camping in the Mojave Desert, and in the summer I camp near the ocean, but I also camp in the wine valleys and in the mountains. I do about 5 to 8 camping trips a year for anywhere from 3 to 15 days at a time. I love being out in nature. I am a former professional social worker and college psychology professor. Worked in Child Protection and also in the fields of mental health and substance abuse. I have a 35 year old son who lives in Los Angeles; that's one of the reasons I moved to California, but I preferred to live in Northern California.
