I'm a 53yr old female, I was married for 33 years, now divorced. I have a grown son, and a beautiful grand daughter, I'm so proud of both of them. I lost my 16yr old son in 2001. I go through the stages of grief like all parents who have lost a child. In most other ways I'm in a good place in my life. It's never too late to start anew. I have come to realize that all things happen for a reason The one event in my life that I don't understand the reason, is the loss of my son. I hate the question, how many children do you have, I always hesitate with my answer.
