I grew up in Bloomington, Ca. Bloomington is a small unincorporated area of San Bernardino County. In those days Boomington was dairy country. Now Bloomington is all houses.

TWO WESTPAC CRUISES 71-74: VIETNAM, JAPAN, SINGAPORE, HONG KONG, AND PHILIPPINES. I currently live in Imperial, Ca., about 12 miles North of the Mexicali, Mexico and occasionally travel to Mexico. I have traveled through most states west of the Mississippi River.

More about me

I have been married for 36 years to my soulmate, Sylvia. We live on a small ranch in the Imperial, Ca. We have three adult sons. The oldest is a Computer Service Technician. He married a very sweet girl (10/07). Our first grandbaby (granddaughter) was born 02/18/09. She is a cutey! Our second granddaughter was born 02/01/11. I love being a grandparent. My middle son programs computers for the government and lives in Washington DC. My youngest son is a medic in the Navy currently serving with the 1/9 2nd Marines. He completed a tour of duty in IRAQ and Afghanistan. He just returned home safely from his second tour of duty from Afghanistan. Thank you for your prayers for him. We have two horses, three dogs, and numerous cats that we have rescued.  I am a California State Parole Agent and monitor (to insure public safety) and assist felon's released from prison. I am also a Rangemaster and Firearms Instructor for the Parole Department. I hope to retire within the next two years. I'm looking forward to my retirement to spend more time with Sylvia (hopefully she is as happy as I am about it), and family.

Activities

*Rescuing animals especially cats. *We spay/neuter, and provide love, food, home placement, medical attention to rescued domestic and feral cats. We paticipate in a Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) program in Imperial County. Most of the kitties we keep have "special needs" as they are the most difficult to find homes for. *Play lead (12 string) and bass guitar. *Amateur Radio (wb6cgj/See QRZ.Com).

The Bible. It tells us about our creator and how much he loves us, even when we are "unlovable". It offers wise instruction on how to live our lives. It lets us know that there is always hope through Jesus Christ. It tells us how we can have eternal life.
