Startin over career wise now that I had been laid off from my job of 20 yrs. Nothing like starting over at 53. I have basically turned into a homebody after moving back to WV from Daytona Beach. I miss the ocean alot but not alot I can do about it now. Fla seems to be going down the drain, prices up, rent way up, insurance rates way way up etc. Fla seems to be doing alot of budget cuts and the first cuts are in the health care field. So doubt now I will ever move back now and get a good job like I had. So now back in WV ..bummer. I still have my Mustang and it is STILL my baby, along with my two parrots, dog and cat. Big animal lover. Hey got more room here in WV, have a house now not a condo, umm...wonder if I should get another cat or dog??? LOL I like the paranormal,UFOs, all that weird stuff. I miss my Nascar cos used to go twice a yr to the races in Daytona so now stuck with watchin it on tv. I like sightseeing, antiques, going out for coffee. Not dating at the present time but doesn't mean my eyes are closed. Just don't trust much anymore cos of past issues. I don't have any children, my pets are my "babies" along with my Yello Stang. haha

Activities

Fixing up the house, Nascar, reading, learning about EVPs and ghost hunting. Going wacky setting up MYSPACE, yea I am too old for this?? NAH. OH like playing POGO online too. That can get very addicting. Now found this online game called GOPETS..thought for kids but now found there are alot of people my age on the thing so now have joined it too. Fun playing around on Second Life too with my gorgeous avatar...LOL.

, BURTON CUMMINGS....he's still got it at 60!!!!!!!, Gino Vannelli and he still has it too.so guess I like soft jazz, blues. John Mayer sings some nice songs. Then at times I even like heavy metal stuff and industrial stuff. No opera tho. Not for me.So metal would be Nuno Bettencourt, great guitar player. Then John Mayer is a really great guitar player too. I caught a video of him doing Hendrix and was surprised.

Tanya Huff's "Blood Books" series, Stephen King and currently reading the Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris. The first book is called "Dead Until Dark." The new HBO series True Blood is based on these books by Harris.
