I enjoy traveling and have been to over half the states in the US and all but 4 of the Canadian provinces. I've also traveled to England and Ireland - both of which I will travel to again. There is so much beauty to be found in every place I've visited.

More about me

I'm a short, sassy 56 yr old woman who is on the shy side - although once I get to know someone and call them friend - well - my friends say they just don't see the shy side of me.  I  work as an office manager and have been with the same employer for 24 yrs.  I really like my job most days but I do keep my options open for new and interesting possibilities. 

I'm the mother of 5 adult children who are all out and on their own,  and I have 7 beautiful grandchildren (no prejudice here - grin) that I don't get to see often enough. 

My hobbies are reading, quilting and crafting, traveling and spending time with friends and family.  I love the arts - both visual and performance - especially theatre.   I enjoy trying new food and new experiences.    I really enjoy learning - so I keep taking classes online.  I want to visit all 50 states and all the provinces in Canada and maybe do a little traveling abroad. 

My goals in life are varied - but mostly just to enjoy the rest of my life and I hope to find friends to enjoy it with me.

My Children - all unique in their own way.

Favorite Places

Wherever I am at any given moment. But one of my favorites is standing at the top of the viewing area at the Beuchart Gardens in Victoria BC - they are so beautiful.

Favorite Animals

I love to visit zoos to see all the different animals but I think my favorites are the giraffs and the otters.
