More about me

I'm a professional dancer (belly dance, ballet, tap, jazz, and my latest passion Flamenco) and choreographer teaching and attending dance conferences nationally.  I have also been a professional seamstress.  Between '94 and '98 I "ran away with the circus" as an entrapreneur on a Renaissance Festival circuit between the Florida Keys and Kansas City including Cincinnati desiging, making and selling ladies hats, dresses and purses.  I hitched and towed my own travel trailer.  I wintered in Florida and summered in Kansas.

Now that I'm back home after going broke, I was able to return to the Univesity and pick up where I left off.  But, I continue with the Kansas City Renaissance Festival working someone else's booth selling jewelry.

I'm a wannabe photographer and belong to an amature photo club in Kansas City.  I have a Pentex ME from the late '70's early '80's that works great and a Sony Cyber Shot 7.2 mega pixels that's also great.  I'm the featured photographer for June on a 2010 Calendar co-sponsored by CSL Kansas City, MO and CSL Santa Rosa, CA.

My primary passion, however, is I belong to a very close knit family.  I have four sisters who are my best women friends.  We travel together often along with the many neices and nephews--the latest adventure being to South Padre, TX June of 2007.  Being the oldest daugher of eight children, like many girls in my sitution I feel I have already raised a family, and therefore felt no need to have my own children.  But, I LOVE children.

My craziest passion?  ROLLERCOASTERS!
