Although I was born and raised in southern California, I have called North Carolina my home for the past 15 years. I now live in Wilmington - which is located between the Atlantic and the Cape Fear River. Places I have lived: Perris, California; Riverside, California; San Diego, California; Wilmington, North Carolina. I have visited most states in the continental U.S. at least once.

To introduce myself...  My name is Donna, Mom, or Nanny, depending on who is calling me.  I have been married (2nd time) for 16 years, I have two grown daughters, four grandkids, and two spoiled daschunds that go by the names of Maggie and Oscar.

I am the owner/operator of a small child care center that is attached to my home and teach classes part time at the community college in Early Childhood Education.  I am also going back to school myself to get my Ph.D.

In my spare time I enjoy being outside and working in the yard and in my garden, spending time with the grandkids, going shopping, working on my genealogy, cross-stitch, and science-fiction.
