More about me

I am a young looking and young acting grandmother of 5. I worked full time teaching math to unappreciative 8th graders. I retired at the end of the school year in June, 2007. I'm now searching to find what I want to be when I grow up!!! I've never had this much free time.I visit my 2 granddaughters and new grandson who live in Florida and may spend more time there in the winter. My boys live not far from me on Long Island.I'm trying my hand at writing and spend a lot of time on the computer. I'm looking to meet new people and expand my horizons. I hope you read this and respond to it.

Activities

I enjoy traveling and have been to many interesting places. I especially like cruising since I don't have to constantly unpack and I get to see more things. I'm trying my hand at writing...nothing specific yet...more like assignments. I have 4 grandchildren and one more on the way! I try to get to the gym as often as possible and I joined a slimnastics group because I need the discipline.

I have a varied interest in music. I like Neil Diamond, Barry Manilow, Barbra, and Josh Groben. I like many groups such as ABBA and Peter, Paul, and Mary. I like to listen to the radio to get a variety of music.

Don't laugh..... Jeopardy, Oprah, Dancing With the Stars The Bachelor

Favorite Places

Hawaii...It has the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. Italy..Nice people, good food, interesting and historical places to see.
