A local charity is the WHAS Crusade for Children. It is sponsored by that local TV station out of Louisville Ky. They work with the Fire Departments and raise money for Children's Charities throughout a big area of the state. The Fire Departments set up roadblocks and go house to house collecting money for these children. It is a wonderful opportunity to give of yourself as well as your money and alot of people are involved. The TV station has nothing but exclusive showing of the Crusade for about 24 hours, showing Fire Departments, groups and individuals bringing in money in all sorts of containers for this worthy cause. It is very touching also to see the children with handicaps that this money is used for.

There is so much music that I like. Christian, country, and I really love the music by the Celtic Woman. I have been to their concert in Louisville and what a wonderful experience it was. They were outstanding.

Just about anything on Food Network, HGTV, Discovery and History Channel. I really love to watch Ghost Hunters also. I really don't watch alot of series shows. But around the holidays I'm right there along with the grandkids watching all of the Christmas shows, and my all time favorite is "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer."

The Ten Commandments, The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and others that are just too numerous to mention. And just about any of the Christmas Movies.

History, Literature, Fantacy and anything else that looks interesting.

My Parents and Grandparents, who took the time to raise me up with love by teaching me right from wrong and spanking my behind when I did something I shouldn't have and keeping me on the right path.

My home, where I can rest, relax and spend time with my family.

My Cats. Patches (Tortie), and Mr. Binky (short haired Yellow Tabby) who I raised on an eye dropper and bottle from the time he was about a week old. My old friend Milo (long haired Yellow Tabby) who I had to have put to rest 2 months ago due to his age related illness. He was almost 14 yrs old and my big baby, who I had also raised from about 4 wks old. And about 30 cats that I have outside on our farm.

I never thought that I would be retired due to a disability and illness (Crohns). I always wanted to remain an active person.
