Places I've been

We lived in San Clemente, CA for 10 years when my children were younger and moved back to Indiana, which was my hometown. I have traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada and Texas. Have been to Kentucky and Salt Lake City, but I call California my real home.

I am a widow of 7 years, I have 3 children, son 28 yrs, son 24 years and a daughter 22.  1 granddaughter 4 and 1 grandson that is 3 and 1 that is 6 months old.  2 step grandsons 6 and 3.  My 24 year old son just got deployed and will be gone for 1 year and I miss him very much.  This is why I got on this website to see what other parents go thru when their children are in the military.  I am a single parent and scared of what my happened to him after he gets deployed.  I am a very caring, head strong, independent individual.  And hopefully I have installed that in my children. I enjoy reading some of the postings on this website so I don't feel all alone.
