More about me

I am a country girl - born and raised in a small town in SD (Webster) - moved to Seattle in 1975 - got married 5 months later - 1st child 1 yr later - Whew! I'm exhausted just writing that!  LoL.

About me - Yes, I am a country girl stuck in the city for the past 30+ years, but I have been blessed. I have four wonderful, beautiful daughters (3 still on this earth), three terrific son-in-laws, and four outstanding grandchildren with the fourth due in April of 2009!  Yeaaa!!  I love being a "Nanna."

My life experience equals several BA degrees with probably a PHd or two thrown in, although truth be told, I'm about quarters short of my AA. I've just done a lot of things in my life time. I'm a graphic designer, web designer, author, chaplain, administrative specialist, office manager, and child advocate. I recently finished writing my 2nd book, The Choice - a fiction this time - that's connected to my first book, I Can Only Imagine..., a non-fiction story about my journey after the suicide of my 15 year-old daughter, Molli in 2001.

My passion is my Lord, Jesus Christ, and preparing the way for His soon return. The Holy Spirit is my best friend and is the most compassionate person I've ever met. I love being a spiritual mentor to many and also helping others work through their problems by using the Bible as their guide.

My ministry is to reach as many young people as I can - and their parents - and let them know how valuable they are. I want to obliterate teen suicide so that another family doesn't have to go through what my family did. I want to travel the World, speaking to everyone and telling my story. I also want to lift the hearts of parents grieving because of the loss of a child.

I am all about love, laughter, smiles, and hugs. I enjoy helping others and desire to be a blessing to everyone God puts in my path. If that's you, I'd love to be your friend! I'd like to help others with their writing and learning about Christ. Someday I will be blessed again to have a spouse who is my best friend, and together we will change the World.
