About Me
I live in the greater Cincinnati area and have been divorced for quite some time now. Every time I think I think I've about got life figured out I get humbled and find there is always a whole lot more yet to learn. Maybe that's why I find so many things interesting, though. As I get to know someone I have a somewhat mischievous sense of humor, but never mean spirited. I made my living through most of my career in the business world, but am now free to do as I will, and have used my time to develop my talents as an artist. I paint in oils, and have found a great deal of satisfaction in my work. I have always been an outdoorsman, and that is reflected in many of my works, whether landscapes or wildlife. I like to do things in a unique way that reflects my own individual style and approach. I have developed techniques all my own to capture special effects in light and shadow, and to give added depth in almost a three dimensional aspect that cannot be fully appreciated in photos of my works, but are best appreciated when seen in person. I sometimes enjoy just sitting in my back yard at night by my fish pond, watching the fountain, with sometimes a fire in my chimnera, and watching the many wild creatures that often drop by. I also love a number of types of music, and my tastes are pretty eclectic. I'm a pretty fair dancer, although I haven't been as active recently as I used to be. I think that it is more important that people respect one another for who the other one is than that they think exactly alike and like all of the same things. I want no one to try to impress me, but rather they feel comfortable just being themself. After all, that is who we all end up being sooner or later anyway. I am a sensitive, caring person, and respect that trait in others. I believe character is a person's most attractive and enduring feature, and one that cannot be faked where it is not present, but always shines through where it is. I believe that the ability to forgive is also a very important ability for a person to have a healthy and balanced life, and has to begin with ourselves. I have found that people who are too hard on themselves have a hard time making allowances for others as well, which only makes things harder for themselves. It doesn't mean they are bad people. Most of all, I think it's good not to take life too serious all of the time, but to learn to let go of things, and when possible, find the reasons to smile. I've added some pictures of a few of my paintings to my photos. I hope that you like them. Also, my videos are very revealing into my tastes and personality.

Questions & Answers
Who are your heroes?
Anyone and everyone who stands strong for character and truth in a society that continues to put pressure on people to compromise both, a society of "The Kings New Clothes."
What is your marital status?
Divorced
Who is the most interesting person you have ever met?
My best friend Mel, who I lost to lung cancer, who had been a paratrooper, and had been all over the world in his travels. He was a Seneca Indian, had owned his own business, and had a good natured gentle sense of humor. It was only at his funeral that I realized why he had gone out of his way to befriend me. His son was there, who I had never met, but knew Mel was very proud of, and he looked very much like me.
Now that you are over 50, what are you doing that you never thought you would?
